Elli is a mission-driven entrepreneur that is committed to elevating the competitiveness, growth and success of small businesses in our communities. Her expertise with business strategy, growth plans, financial analysis and projections, project planning and access to capital has helped dozens of manufacturing, creative and food businesses bring ideas to life.
After spending seven years working with the Grow America Fund to underwrite and manage a multi-million-dollar business loan portfolio at the height of the recession, she grew tired of declining small business loan requests due to inadequate financials, lack of clear planning and limited cash flow. Elli started Skopos to work with business owners on the other side of the table, advising them on the financial issues that prevent them from operating smoothly, accessing financing and communicating their growth plans.
A Los Angeles native, Elli earned her B.S. in Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California in 2001. Since then, she enjoyed a zig-zag career path that has taken her through the worlds of online marketing for major entertainment brands, merchant banking research for aspiring equity-driven models and helping New York City small businesses access capital during the tightest credit crunch of our century.
When she’s not helping small businesses thrive, you can find her traveling to sunny places, enjoying live music and spending time with her family and friends.
